Today’s sessions were dedicated to one of the Olympic Weightlifting movements : the Clean & Jerk. 💪🏻

In the first part of our workout we practiced the finishing movement (from the shoulders to overhead) which is called the Jerk.

There are 2 ways to do it :

Split Jerk like Marcus ⬆️ or Push Jerk like Helene ⬇️

Essentially it depends on how mobile you are or feel confortable with the bar overhead.

Personally I prefer the Split when it becomes heavy.

On the metcon part we had a short AMRAP with this time the full Clean & Jerk movement (from the floor to overhead) and Burpees Box Jumps Over.

Here Christine chose to do them laterally #Strategy 😆

Then Snorre came and decided we should pray for the sun to come back in his warm up.

You can see that everyone is very devout ☀️🙏🏻
