So ……. I got up this morning and my wheel was squeaking …bla bla bla bla.
Was not late and my warm up was just fine.
Lifting with Lee starts at the same time as the first “Bring a friend” so Robin made coffee and life was good.
I started of my class with some tabata “Arnold pumping” Mostly for warm up and fun, but also to ensure that my members don’t have skinny arms. Im aware that creates a problem buying clothes. For some reason the fashion industry have not discovered that the trend is looking healthy. If you ask me, not fitting into H&M clothes is a huge plus. It means that you are better than “normal people”. That you have chosen not to copy the lifestyle of cocaine snorting clothe hangers in Paris that talks about beauty as if they get to decide. Just because they make millions selling clothes and perfume does not give them the right to dictate how people should look. Squatting 3 times a week will give you strong legs, a nice butt and small waist. It will also limit the choices you have in pants by 70 % So, then you end up walking around feeling “fat” when the truth is you look great !
While the morning class was working on limiting their choices in shirts, Tuva and Gard took it easy. Hoping to find something fancy at nelly.com
Lifting with Lee was crazy today. A lot of heavy lifting going on. Olympic Weightlifting is not a dangerous sport. Its at the bottom of the list alongside beach volleyball. Soccer and Handball ranks 100 times more dangerous, but are still the popular choices. If you are a parent worried about your kid lifting weights, you are just an idiot. An uninformed idiot at best.
That does not mean that accidents don’t happen ! Today Sara banged the bar straight into her “chicken” She came in to the main room screaming ; “ Jag har brutit fittan” (You have to be 18 years or older to translate this)
Soo ….. thanks Lee. There goes the weekend 😞
Chona, Monica and Tina arranged a “flee marked” with sporting clothes. Its a great idea. We should do it regularly.
