Today was the day to take ā€œa walk in the parkā€ Focus on the basics, and just get in some old school training.

We talked about the hip hinge – followed by the hip snap. Keeping the shoulders back and down. And keeping the midline stability.

Hereā€™s a super example;

Then we did the wall-balls. An explosive squat followed by a push press. Great combination.

The lunge. Same thing. Strong shoulders, back and down. Keep your chest up and weight on the heels. Easy to say. Hard to do.

Then pull ups. Any variation you like. pull to your own ability, but keep your core tight.

Bodybuilder pull ups is a great choice on a day like this.

I really like this. Itā€™s so ā€¦ good in many ways. Lots of respect to all of you. Really working hard on performing ā€œthe basic movementsā€ correctly.

Nobody rushed. Nobody cared about the score. We just trained together for 30 minutes.
